Who leads the funeral service is one of the most important considerations and it is imperative to make the right decision. What this person says and does during the service will hopefully create a meaningful and pleasing memory.
Sometimes we are asked to arrange for a local minister of one denomination or another; sometimes we are asked to arrange a secular alternative.
To complement these options we have our own funeral service Officiant on the team. John Taylor was until recently a minister at a local church but now specialises in taking funeral services. John brings a wealth of experience in preparing services of all descriptions and ministering to families generally. Now working directly for bereaved families, John is able to develop funeral services of all descriptions, whether secular, religious, spiritual or just something completely designed around the family.
Having an in house funeral Officiant is allowing us to explore ways of helping families cope with their bereavement after the funeral is over.
