Most notable are our fleet of funeral hearse and funeral limousines which are black Jaguar vehicles of the latest XJ model, all of which are marked with our distinctive ‘TFS’ personalised number plates. The Jaguar vehicle is the very best in its field; it is a distinctive and graceful vehicle that holds the eye when it passes. The funeral limousines seat 5-6 passengers in two rows of seats, separated from the chauffeur. Fully air-conditioned and with all the latest equipment, this is a vehicle of the highest comfort and reliability. Our fleet also includes discreet funeral ambulances designed for the collection of a deceased from the place of death and bespoke vehicles at Harbour View which enable transportation of the deceased around the crematorium and Woodland Burial Ground.
We are often asked to provide vehicles of a different type or colour and we will always do our best to facilitate such requests via our contacts.
There are many variations on the motor hearse. To name but a few, we have arranged horse-drawn hearse, motorbike (or trike) hearse, hearse of colours other than black, vintage Rolls Royce hearse; we have even arranged a flat-bed lorry.READ MORE
Principally used for collecting a deceased from their place of death when discretion is often desirable, these vehicles do not draw attention to themselves and yet are fully equipped for our purposes when we attend scenes that are often challenging. The ambulance is also used on occasions for taking the deceased to an unattended funeral service (e.g. The ‘Direct’ Cremation).READ MORE
We do not permit modern motor vehicles within the grounds of Harbour View, beyond the car parking areas and yet the grounds are extensive. To respectfully yet practically take a coffin around the grounds of Harbour View we have a bespoke designed hearse buggy and a traditionally designed wooden wheeled bier.READ MORE
