Donations to Charity

Important Note

Some credit card providers charge very large commissions upon transactions; some as much as 3%. We consider this to be too high and therefore do not accept some cards, including American Express and some variations of Master Card and Visa including those suffixed with ‘Corporate’, ‘Business’ or ‘World’. Normal Master Card and Visa should be fine. Transactions attempted with the higher charging credit cards will be declined by our Sagepay Account. If this should prove to be the case, we hope you understand that we cannot afford to lose 3% on a transaction charge, especially on in memorium donations where we pass on 100% of your donation to the charity and we pay the commission to the credit card companies.

Gift Aid

If you have ticked the box titled ‘Gift Aid?’ then you confirm that you are a UK Income or Capital Gains taxpayer. That you have read this statement and want the named charity or Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC) to reclaim tax on the donation detailed on this form, given today. That you understand that You must pay an amount of Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax in the tax year at least equal to the amount of tax that all the charities and CASCs you donate to, will reclaim on your gifts for that tax year. That you understand that other taxes such as VAT and Council Tax do not qualify. That you understand the charity will reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 that you have given.

Please notify us or the charity or CASC if you:

  1. Want to cancel this declaration

  2. Change your name or home address

  3. No longer pay sufficient tax on your income and/or capital gains.

If you pay Income Tax at the higher or additional rate and want to receive the additional tax relief due to you, you must include all your Gift Aid donations on your Self Assessment tax return or ask HM Revenue and Customs to adjust your tax code.

Book of Remembrance

"Remembering Aunty Audrey the time we came to visit you and Uncle David. There was much love and laughter and an amazing lunch. I loved your direct and honest approach to life. Then we met again in Brighton and shared more stories. Love Amanda (New Zealand) Eternal rest grant unto you Audrey and may perpetual light shine upon you. May you rest in peace."

Amanda Craddock - 13th January 20

"I only met Audrey a couple of times, but will always remember her humour and strength of character. I can picture her smile today, the way it lit up not only her face, but the faces of those around her. Thoughts are with Carol, Chris and all the family as they come to terms with her loss. She will be missed. "

Barbara Lapthorn - 13th January 20

"This comes with empathy as you grieve the passing of your beloved Mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. As you journey on the Grief Road, may the bonds of family draw you even closer together as you support one another in this sad time. Comfort and strength be yours individually and collectively as family from the legacy of your Mother's love. May the work of her life are in those things she passed on and taught you continue to enrich your lives. With fond remembrance and thanks for having shared a valued friendship with both of your fine parents, Audrey and Dave. Sincerely Claudette Life long friend from Australia"

Claudette - 13th January 20

"Audrey, you were the perfect neighbour, always good for a natter, cup of tea and shortbread and always knew what was going on...... We will always remember your hearty laugh, good nature and spirit. You were the best. xxx "

Pat & Billie Goodall - 11th January 20

Tricia & Adrian - 10th January 20

"My beautiful Nanny, nothing will come close to the bond we had as nanny and your only grand daughter. There are no words to explain how much I will miss you but you will always be very close to my heart in every venture I take. Hope you are having a white wine spritzer (with lemonade NOT soda!) up there with gramps and pippa. Until we meet again, sleep tight nanny Craddock, love Anna xxxxx "

Anna Craddock - 3rd January 20

"Dear Mum. I will miss talking to you and putting the world to rights, but your spirit, strength of character and your love of family lives on in me and Chris. Your great grandchildren will know all your stories as they grow. You will never be forgotten. Time to rest in peace now and be reunited with Dad. Love you always. Carol x."

Carol - 2nd January 20
