Our family has been helping locally bereaved people since our great-grandfather started as a funeral director in Towngate Street, Poole in 1904. Well over 110 years later and four generations on we continue this tradition.

At Tapper Funeral Service we have funeral homes across East Dorset and West Hampshire. Our dedicated team of funeral directors and supporting colleagues are some of the most experienced in their fields and will expertly and sympathetically advise on and arrange every detail following a bereavement.

In addition to traditional funeral services we have Harbour View, which is a contemporary Crematorium and Woodland Burial Ground uniquely designed to reflect modern society and importantly, allow local families the time they need to reflect upon their bereavement in peaceful and unhurried surroundings; we also provide a full range of competitively priced Pre-Paid Funeral Plans, which are fully underwritten and guaranteed by Ecclesiastical Life and Outlook Bereavement Support which is a unique and free-to-use service offering social, spiritual and practical assistance to bereaved people as they navigate the difficult waters of the first few years of bereavement.
